Rap-Up.com || Mariah Carey Christens Disney’s ‘Fantasy’ Cruise Ship

Disney called on a diva to help christen its newest cruise ship, Fantasy. Mariah Carey, who not coincidentally has her own hit called “Fantasy,” joined Disney executives for the launch in New York Harbor on Thursday. The glamorous star, who was named the ship’s “fairy godmother,” was escorted by Mickey Mouse into the grand foyer, where she introduced her husband Nick Cannon, who was on the deck with Minnie Mouse.

With Goofy, Pluto, and the rest of the Disney characters by her side, the pop superstar counted down to the christening before Minnie broke a champagne bottle on the boat’s side.

“I christen thee Disney Fantasy. May God bless this ship and all who sail on her,” said MC, who toasted the occasion as confetti fell from the sky. Watch the festive moment below.
