Nicki Minaj

With less than a month to go before its release, more details are starting to emerge on Nicki Minaj’s sophomore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. The fierce femcee took to Twitter to inform her fans of what’s in store.

“I am ABSOLUTELY in LOVE w/this f@%#ing ALBUM!!!!!!! Like!!! AbsoFCNGlutely in LOVE barbz!!!!!!!!!!!!” tweeted an excited Nicki.

When asked to describe the album in one word, she responded, “FREEDOM.”

The follow-up to her 2010 debut Pink Friday will feature 22 tracks when it arrives on April 3. She is planning to release at least one more “teaser” before the project drops.

A tour is set to follow, touching down in the U.S. this summer. Dates will be announced soon.

Nicki has been in the studio with Hit-Boy, Dr. Luke, Ester Dean (“Super Bass”), and Rico Beats (“Roman Reloaded”), among others. “There’s more surprises this time,” said “Your Love” producer Pop of Pop & Oak. “I think she’s proven, like, ‘Yo, I can rap. I’m probably the best girl to really do this shit ever.’ Now she’s more comfortable and she’s having a little more fun.”

A video for “Starships” was recently shot. The RedOne-produced single is currently No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
