Rap-Up.com || New Music: Madonna f/ Nicki Minaj – ‘I Don’t Give A’ [Snippet]

After performing at the Super Bowl and appearing in the video for “Give Me All Your Luvin,’” Nicki Minaj serves up a second collaboration with Madonna. The Young Money diva adds some hip-hop swag to “I Don’t Give A,” a carefree cut off the pop queen’s album MDNA, due March 26.

“Shots fire, anything you hear Nicki on, that’s fire,” she raps in an island accent over the bouncy Martin Solveig production. Listen to her give props to the “original Don Dada” on the snippet below.

I personally don’t care for Kim’s music, but I also don’t care enough to go to her new music and trash it because I don’t check for her. I also realize that Kim is one of the pioneers for female rap. I really wish the fans could get along.

@4RealDoe, This sounds more like a song Prince would have done back in the 80′s,I do not get any Katy Perry vibes from it!And Hard Candy wasn’t bubblegum it payed homage to 70′s and 80′s R&B and Disco-Funk!They do have chemistry on the track Nicki sassiness matches Madonna’s sassiness on the track perfectly! Huge fan of the both of them!

@kevin, I like both of their music as well. But my opinion still stays the same. IMO, they have not chemistry and Hard Candy was a tragedy compared to the rest of her very impressive catalogue. But again, it’s simply my opinion and its not going to change. Make sure you buy both of their albums when they come out and enjoy! I won’t! :-)

GREAT. This album has a good variety – from the lighter pop on the Benassi and Solveig tracks, which compose half of the album, to the reportedly darker, more introspective William Orbit tracks. And she’s a good producer all around.

That song is a very dark bassy indrustrial song!It’s one of those songs you’d hear in some dark S&M club in Europe!This album has songs for the dance music lovers,ballad lovers,the more expeirmental tracks and even a little rock! This is a Pop record so don’t expect any Urban styled music like on Hard Candy.

I’m a Madonna fan and I am going to support her new album but I’m curious to see how it does. I feel like she is using Nicki Minaj as an instrument to promote this album. I remember when “Hard Candy” dropped in ’08 and I was thinking that it was funny how she hopped on the Pharrell/Timbaland bandwagon like everyone else was at the time. It was a pretty good album though! I’m sure this one will be too. It just kind of lacks originality IMO.
