New Music: Madonna f/ Nicki Minaj – ‘I Don’t Give A’ [Snippet]

Nicki Minaj and Madonna

After performing at the Super Bowl and appearing in the video for “Give Me All Your Luvin,’” Nicki Minaj serves up a second collaboration with Madonna. The Young Money diva adds some hip-hop swag to “I Don’t Give A,” a carefree cut off the pop queen’s album MDNA, due March 26.

“Shots fire, anything you hear Nicki on, that’s fire,” she raps in an island accent over the bouncy Martin Solveig production. Listen to her give props to the “original Don Dada” on the snippet below.

If you don’t have anything don’t say it! Do you have a song with Madonna? Didn’t think so!

    [Reply]

    Will Rose Reply:

@FarahNOVA, That’s so true! With the lovers though you have haters and it’s as simple as that.

Honestly, the haters check up on Nicki more than her fans do which is sad.

    [Reply]

    BeenAFan Reply:

@Will Rose, True maybe cause all of them are Kim fans and that tranny not making music so they all come on nicki shit to hate on – step yo game uppl nicki not going anywhere :)

    [Reply]

    Will Rose Reply:

@BeenAFan, Lol. That’s not nice. Honestly, it’s comments like that that keep this petty beef between Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim alive. If everyone just supported their own favorite artists and not concern themselves with the other people are doing, there’d be no need for the beef.

I personally don’t care for Kim’s music, but I also don’t care enough to go to her new music and trash it because I don’t check for her. I also realize that Kim is one of the pioneers for female rap. I really wish the fans could get along.

& I’m sure ppl would like this lol Nicki is a pity. But just like Eve & Foxy tried to come at Kim… THEY DIDN’T LAST 3 albums! :-)

    [Reply]

    Ray ray Reply:

@Chaunsey, kim doesnt write her shit, ghost writer contract surfaced so quit bringing up that bitch up in anything that has to do with nicki minaj.

    [Reply]

    George Reply:

@Chaunsey, Why do people say that like It was Kim who ended there careers? Foxy’s anger issues & drug addiction to morphine which resulted in health issues ended Foxy.

Eve went Hollywood then fell back and enjoyed her money. Kim didn’t end nobody’s career. After all the Subliminals she threw at both of em they still were hot at the moments.

    [Reply]

    Shaytan Reply:

    @George,

Educate yourself! Eve dissed Kim 1st. She said it several times. She “thought” Kim didn’t like her.

Foxy dissed Kim because of long time rival that no one till this day knows the reason. So sit!

    [Reply]

    Candy Reply:

    @George, Kim’s Notorious K.I.M album killed Foxy Brown’s career.

Madonna give it up… This is sounding as tragic as the bubble gum music on “Hard Candy”! try again. Remember that you’re 50+ and give us something creative and new. NOT Katy Perry-esque bullshit. And keep Nicki where she’s at. You 2 have ZERO chemistry on a track.

    [Reply]

    kevin Reply:

@4RealDoe, This sounds more like a song Prince would have done back in the 80′s,I do not get any Katy Perry vibes from it!And Hard Candy wasn’t bubblegum it payed homage to 70′s and 80′s R&B and Disco-Funk!They do have chemistry on the track Nicki sassiness matches Madonna’s sassiness on the track perfectly! Huge fan of the both of them!

    [Reply]

    4RealDoe Reply:

@kevin, I like both of their music as well. But my opinion still stays the same. IMO, they have not chemistry and Hard Candy was a tragedy compared to the rest of her very impressive catalogue. But again, it’s simply my opinion and its not going to change. Make sure you buy both of their albums when they come out and enjoy! I won’t! :-)

What did Nicki say in this song? What does she say in any of her music. The most I’ve heard from Nicki was Dear Old Nicki, Moment For Life and maybe a couple others. Where is the substance these days mannn. 50 year old trying to do what’s in smh. #Sad

GREAT. This album has a good variety – from the lighter pop on the Benassi and Solveig tracks, which compose half of the album, to the reportedly darker, more introspective William Orbit tracks. And she’s a good producer all around.

    [Reply]

    kevin Reply:

@Kudos, Yes! This album has everything from european dance music to ballads, Did you hear the preview of Gang Bang?! That song is a very dark bassy indrustrial song! It’s one of those songs you’d hear in some dark S&M club in Europe! This album has songs for the dance music lovers, ballad lovers, the more expeirmental tracks and even a little rock! This is a Pop record so don’t expect any Urban styled music like on Hard Candy.

    The Prune (a true story):

Once upon a time there was a vocally horrid, mediocre dancer named Madonna. Although she was virtually talentless, she was able to produce a substantial amount of o.k. dance records and middle of the road pop songs, some of which were decent and somehow managed to get a following. She relentlessly gapped her legs, until she was certain that all of the world had seen her vagina and pissed people off because of her unsightly unibrow and awkward, muscular physique. All was well until time reared its ugly head, axing everything that was desperately holding on to its hands for dear life. During this time a ripe plum turned into a dry, s*cked up prune. Madonna is that prune. The End.

Hope you all enjoyed my lovely story. Ciao! :)

I’m a Madonna fan and I am going to support her new album but I’m curious to see how it does. I feel like she is using Nicki Minaj as an instrument to promote this album. I remember when “Hard Candy” dropped in ’08 and I was thinking that it was funny how she hopped on the Pharrell/Timbaland bandwagon like everyone else was at the time. It was a pretty good album though! I’m sure this one will be too. It just kind of lacks originality IMO.

    [Reply]

    Os Reply:

@Kyle,i won’t go as far as to say madge is using nicki,i,ll say this though i think they are helping each other out in there own way in my opinion, because nicki always wanted to work with people she looked up to growing up,and she did work with must of them already,i won,t be surprised if she gets the chance to work with grace jones and cyndi lauper and others.
