Video: Lil Mo f/ Tweet – ‘iLove Me’

Lil Mo and Tweet

Lil Mo knows a woman’s worth. The R&B singer, best known for her 2001 hit “Superwoman Pt. II,” learns to love herself after going through a rough relationship in the video for “iLove Me,” a single off her 2011 album P.S. I Love Me. Southern Hummingbird Tweet also makes her return to the screen, providing a shoulder to lean on.

“My album is about empowering women in every area of their lives,” said Mo, who is currently on a multi-city promo tour in support of her album.

@batman, you are everything that people hate about urban music. you’re obsessed with money and skin bleach. this woman makes music because she loves to sing. not because she wants to sell a milli. you refuse to give the song fair listen chance simply because a big name artist isnt feature on it. and in your warped brain that somehow equates a flop? explain to everybody what you do for a living and let us judge just how much of a flop you are before we tell you to quit.

@Rick Orion, YESSS Tell them. The main reason why most ppl hate on others is simply because there miserable in there own lives. People who are happy do not hate on others especially on a blog it just doesnt add up.

@MinajRules2012, At least someone gets what I’m talking about. Lil’ Mo and Tweet were relavant years ago. And the only had very few hits and a lot of misses. Their careers are over and this music video looks cheap, and it’s as bad as the song they’re singing.

MinajRules – Please stop posting about people you know nothing about. You sound simple and hostile for no reason. Minaj isn’t everything and it’s okay to enjoy other musicans. You are obviously young and/or simple minded. Regardless, do yourself and your country a favor and please go to school on Monday and get an education.

    Sincerely,

I actually REALLY like this song/video. As a dude I get tired of the male bashing songs…but if more women would get this message. LOVE YOU!…leave them trash ass dudes behind

@REAL_Music, I agree, it seems like the majority of women gravitate towards abusive/worthless men. There are still men out there that are supportive, like myself. So ladies, be more selective and don’t just jump on the first man that comes by. You deserve better.

@MinajRules2012 I see you post often on this site. Not once has it ever been in a meaningful manner. How many windows are on that bus you ride? I’m betting there’s more than one handicap exit…even more space than usual between the seats perhaps? You probably don’t even know what the fuck I’m talking about…don’t worry, if you’re IQ is close to the personality you portray through your hateful and irrelevant post, I’d completely understand. Grow up. If you’re not a fan of the artist in a post, why click on the shit? U 4+4 not knowing what the answer is ass dumby! lmao

All of the hate is coming from Nicki Minaj stans, and that’s sad because y’all fail to realize that Nicki doesn’t make respectable music. She’ll never be respected for anything but being a hoe and corrupting even more y’all already corrupted minds.

I Really like this song. For a change Lil Mo kept it suttle and didnt overextend her powerful vocals. Tweet is simply blessed and her voice adds a warm feeling to the melody. I think its Radio friendly and could be a crossover song reaching adult contemporary as well as r&b and even gospel Listeners. Big Tune Much success and love to Lil Mo and Tweet

lil mo ps i love me album out now Reply:

@Singersroom, I totally agree. This sounds like a 107.5 song. The album is so good, her best yet so far I think. Sad that people don’t know about it because of the other garbage record companies and radio shove down their throat. Lil Mo should release a gospel album next, that would sell really well.
