Rap-Up.com || Album Cover: Monica – ‘New Life’ [Deluxe Edition]

All eyes are on Monica on the newly unveiled cover for the deluxe edition of her seventh album New Life. Due April 10, the extended version features four additional tracks including the Missy Elliott-produced “Anything (To Find You)” with Rick Ross. The follow-up to 2010’s Still Standing also boasts collaborations with Brandy (“It All Belongs to Me”) and Wale (“Take a Chance”), plus contributions from Rico Love, Polow Da Don, Jermaine Dupri, Jazmine Sullivan, and Mary J. Blige, who appears on the intro.

Wish ‘New life’s artwork, for this deluxe and the standard edition had a little more about them :/ they’re too similar to ‘Still Standing’, simple image of Mon, subtle colours…i know the music will be awesome though!

I actually prefer the standard edition cover more. There is quite a contrast between that cover and this cover as far as her make-up and hair goes. It’s gonna make people think there are two completely different albums when really there are just 4 bonus tracks.

Congrats to MONICA on the new album. I have been a fan since the beginning. I am so proud of the woman that you haev become. To all of those that try to compare Monica and Brand, please stop. It is so crazy and childish to compare the two, both of these ladies have great voices and are very talented and both two different sounds, Monica has a very soulful voice( a church voice) and Brandy has a comtempory voice. They are both great entertainers, and they are friends. I will purchase both albums because I am a fan of both.IF you are truly a fan of either of the ladies. Be that a fan. But don’t critize one because of your dislike for the other. And the cover is beautiful,because it show growth and purity…
