Rap-Up.com || Album Cover: Ashanti

Ashanti prepares to battle on the charts once again with her fifth album BraveHeart, due April 24 on her own label Written Entertainment. The warrior princess strikes a bold pose on the dramatic cover art. The follow-up to 2008’s The Declaration, which was inspired by the Oscar-winning film Braveheart, features collaborations with R. Kelly, Keyshia Cole, and Busta Rhymes on the lead single “The Woman You Love.”

The cover’s OK, it could be better but regardless I’m just happy that she’s doing her thing and the album is dropping in the next month. I’ve been a fan since DAY ONE so why give up now?

I love the cover. I don’t see what’s the issue, people are just complaining for no reason. People do have a right to an opinion, but like what’s the issue really? Most artist have face pics as album covers, ala Monica, Ciara, etc. & this one is really nice, & what’s the problem with the braid?

u have to give ashanti credit where credit is do.. she looks flawless on her album cover.. her leading single is good.. she has been making mad apperances on tv shows/radio etc…. all of this on her OWN record label.. proud of her!
