Stalley becomes the latest artist to emerge from the Maybach Music camp with his mixtape Savage Journey to the American Dream. His MMG labelmates Wale, Meek Mill, and the boss Rick Ross join him on the 14 tracks, with production from Block Beattaz, Soundtrakk, Chuck Inglish, and Chad Hugo of The Neptunes.
“It’s the most album-sounding project for me as far as the music goes,” said the Ohio rapper. “[People] are going to see the growth lyrically, musically, production-wise. There are definitely some surprises on there. But it’s still Stalley, it’s still that Intelligent Trunk Muzik vibe to it.”
