The West Coast rides again. Dr. Dre passes the torch to his protégé Kendrick Lamar on the Scoop Deville-produced “The Recipe,” the eagerly-anticipated first single off the Black Hippy’s debut album. The Compton natives dedicate the laid-back track, which samples Twin Sister’s “Meet the Frownies,” to their hometown of L.A. Drop the top and head to the city of women, weed, and weather.

@Face, If you didn’t know the person rapping/singing this song, when it starts off, you’d think it was Ludacris…just my opinion!!
