Sneak Peek: Drake f/ Rihanna – ‘Take Care’

Drake and Rihanna

Blink and you’ll miss the preview for Drake’s new video for “Take Care” featuring Rihanna. After weeks of delays, the Yoann Lemoine-directed clip will finally debut Friday at 7:56 p.m. on MTV. Drizzy describes it as a “very artistic, very abstract video.” To make up for the wait, he’ll drop the video for “HYFR (Hell Ya Fuckin’ Right)” with Lil Wayne tomorrow as well. Until then, here’s a “Take Care” teaser.

@:(, 15 minutes? Rihanna has been here for like… 10 years. Drake sells more with every album, Take care was one of the highest selling albums of the year, and he’s only gonna get better.
All you can say is that you dislike them, saying they’re 1 hit wonders is just a really sad lie.

I wouldn’t get/keep my hopes up. Just accept the video for what it is and move on.

He shouldn’t have promised something that wasn’t ready. All that did was maximize and then kill the hype once the extra-long delays started. Such a shame too. This is one of the best mainstream songs of the year. With any luck, the video will still be good enough to keep the momentum for this song going forward.

Rihanna, as usual, is everything. She’s so good. She has Princess of China and Where Have You Been on the way. Monster records. Love my bad gal Riri.
