Nicki Minaj Performs on the 'Today' Show

Nicki Minaj capped off her busy release week by performing a couple songs on the “Today” show. The blonde rap diva, who The New York Times calls “the technicolor Barbie with a big voice and an elastic smile,” sat down with Matt Lauer before delivering her Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded singles “Starships” and “Right By My Side.”
She chatted about her style inspiration, performing with Madonna at the Super Bowl, and relating to Marilyn Monroe, who she named a song after on Roman Reloaded.
The video for “Beez in the Trap” featuring 2 Chainz is expected to premiere later today.
