Rap-Up.com || B.o.B Enlists Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, & Taylor Swift for ‘Strange Clouds’

The stars come out on B.o.B’s sophomore album Strange Clouds, storming into stores on May 1. The 15-track follow-up to his 2010 debut B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray features A-list appearances from Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, T.I., Trey Songz, Lil Wayne, and Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman, along with production from Dr. Luke, Jim Jonsin, Polow Da Don, Tip, and Bobby Ray himself.

“I feel like this album is the culmination of my life story,” the Grand Hustle rapper told Rap-Up.com. “I’m bringing people into my world with just the story and the building blocks that created B.o.B, and I wanted to spend a lot of time with it. It’s a lot more centered with a core sound. I was a lot more honest on this album. I feel like I’m continuously honest in the moment to moment, but I’m constantly changing.”

I’m not sure how I feel about this Album,from the cover art (which is insanely corny) to the track listing that seems okay,but I’ll preview ir first when it drops,his 1st album was really good I’m hoping for the same on this one.

@Redchainsaw, What’s wrong with Trey Songz and Taylor Swift? I don’t really listen to their music lol, but they definitely have talent. B.o.B’s always had quite a varied style, and so his song w/ Taylor might be similar to ‘Mellow Fellow’ for example; and Trey’s a good singer (and he’s probably just going to sing the hook for his song).

B.o.B. reminds me of Andre 3000 by the way he carries himself. I’m not saying B.o.B. is a better rapper than Andre 3000, but you can tell that B.o.B. was influenced by Andre 3000. B.o.B.’s The Adventures of Bobby Ray was a good album, but I thought that album could had been much better. I have a great feeling about B.o.B.’s new album Strange Clouds. If the music is great, Stange Clouds will probably be the best rap album of 2012 when it comes out.

@TRA, I agree. Andre’s arguably the better rapper, but I like B.o.B’s style, and you can tell that he was definitely inspired by him. B.o.B might not be the most popular rapper, but I respect him as an artist/musician.

I just kind of find it funny he said originally this album wouldn’t have any to barely no features, but it’s filled with it. & before somebody ‘tries’ to go inn on me, I’m a B.o.B. fan. I mean I’m gonna get the album regardless, but I could’ve for 1 did without all the features, 2, I could do without Nicki, Taylor most definitely & Chris Brown.

Nice cover and tracklist looks good,I think his gonna move decent numbers(150 000-200 000),that taylor swift collab is going in the billboard/itunes top 5 as everything involving her seems to do well and lastly “Arena” that track I cant wait to hear,with Chris on there it surely will be good.

I’m guessing the Morgan Freeman track might contain an inspirational or controversial dialog from one of Freeman’s movies.

Trey Songz is kinda generic to me and therefore shoulda been left in the Deluxe ed. So does the Playboy Tre track.

Also too many features. Unlike many other rappers B.o.B can actually write inspiring,and hard hitting rhymes.
Either way im buying this coz I loved his previous album!
