Rap-Up.com || Brandy and Monica Perform ‘It All Belongs to Me’ on ‘GMA’

Monica kicked off her release week by linking up with Brandy on “Good Morning America’s” Spring Concert Series. Matching in white, the R&B divas chatted briefly with host Robin Roberts and performed their Rico Love-produced duet “It All Belongs to Me” off Monica’s seventh album New Life, available today.

“It’s about us coming together as women and being there for each other, and a difficult relationship that we’re both in. Thank God it’s not true,” said Brandy, to which Monica responded, “Amen.”

Fourteen years after topping the charts with their hit collaboration “The Boy Is Mine,” Brandy and Monica are plotting a summer tour. Get a taste of what you can expect below.

Monica didnt lip nothing but the first hook before her verse, which she always do on this song to not sing over Brandy. But they did great. I got both my copies of New Life

Brandy’s style is giving me Aaliyah from the “More Than A Woman” video, that’s super HOT! They both look and sound good, but this performance was lipped, and Monica gave it away! Smart move for her, to give a pitch-perfect performance to promote her album!

@Amazement, Considering they chopped half of Brandy’s verse, and the fact that they were there to promote Monica’s album dropping today, I would hope Monica would ‘steal the show.’

I just got back from Target and I bought the deluxe version of the album and all I gotta say is that Monica has such a beautiful voice. The album is solid and I hope people appreciate it for what it is…GREAT R&B MUSIC!

Yes! My girls Brandy and Monica shut it down! Wow. I Loved it! I love how amazing vocalist like these ladies change the arrangement up a lil. :) I love that. They were truly feeling that song and singing the lyrics like they meant it. Would love to see the do mOre and more music together. I gotta get both of their albums. :)

I loved this performance. I love Brandy’s voice, but something about Monica’s really appeals to me. It’s so simple, but pure and soulful at the same time. Great vocalists! I am loving Monica’s new album!

Monica smashed it!! I was a little confused as to why Brandy was holding back, then I realised they’re promoting Monica’s new album!…Which is amazing by the way! Got it for my birthday :) P.s. Does anyone else find Monica’s facial expressions hilarious?!! xD
