Still riding high off his Coachella performance, A$AP Rocky drums up more buzz with the Hit-Boy-produced “Goldie,” the first single off his upcoming debut Long.Live.A$AP, due in July on Polo Grounds Music/RCA Records.
“I wanted to give him something with a little more energy, something for the club ’cause that’s kinda where I’m at right now,” the “Ni**as in Paris” producer told MTV2’s “Sucker Free,” while A$AP added, “We named the song ‘Cristal,’ but they won’t give us license to that so we might have to nickname it ‘Crissy.’”
A$AP will perform at Hot 97’s Summer Jam Festival Pre-Show on June 3, along with Pusha T, Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, and Big K.R.I.T.

@Mr. azx bumie Bamkieo, that’s the mentality that so many people have, but every artist needs a fanbase before they get big. Ain’t nothing wrong with jumpin’ on the bandwagon, as long as you realize that you didn’t do shit to help the artist to get a break. Listen to it and form your opinion afterwards, that’s all I am saying, don’t dismiss it, ’cause it he does not have the same ring Hov, Nicki or Beyoncé might have to their name.

@ehh, though I like the track, I agree with you. A$AP needs to be smart about his choices from now on, ’cause he’s starting to get some buzz. This is his time to show us what he’s about. I hope he will get a lot better lyrically as time passes, but I like his overall style, production and flow. Just waiting for the “like” to turn into “love”.

I always wonder if someone like Kanye did the same song, same beat and same lyrics, then what would everyone say? Genius?

@Rap*LovesJesus, no one cares. what does that have to do with the music. only a loser judges music based on a musician’s personal life and beliefs. it aint got shit to do with the song so shut the fuck up. no one cares.

I don’t know how to feel about A$AP. I don’t exactly like him but I don’t dislike him either. I just feel as if something is missing from his music, I just don’t know what it is. The song is okay but I love the production.

I agree with you. Forget about Geneva. We have to reconcile with Sinhalese and Muslims bforee power-sharing in Sri Lanka. I accept we have conflict among us but Indian made it worse in 1987 and now American making the situation lot more muddy.I will place my view soon. we are idiots chasing the mirage in intellectual Sahara desert.kind regards
