Rap-Up.com || Rihanna Makes a Move in ‘Where Have You Been’ Video

Rihanna busted out some new moves while rehearsing the video for “Where Have You Been,” the Dr. Luke and Calvin Harris-produced dance single off her sixth album Talk That Talk. In the first behind-the-scenes clip, the blonde Barbadian works up a sweat with choreographer Hi-Hat and her dancers.

“This one is just all performance. It’s all about evoking an emotion through your body,” said RiRi. “I was never gonna shoot this video if I couldn’t do choreography ’cause it would be pretty pointless. It would be disappointing.”

Rihanna may have a stank attitude when it comes to the press, or people on Twitter getting fresh with her, but she seems respectful of her team and her fans, so I guess that’s what counts. Interesting to see how the final product turns out.

YAYYY!! Where have you been is one of my favorite songs off the album, along side Cockiness, U da one,Talk that talk and Birthday Cake Remix. The rest of the album is wack.

The fact that she is dancing and really putting an effort into the performance of this vid is getting me hyped. I cant freakin wait. I really hope this trumps ‘We found love’ as that video was her best of her career. ArHHH, can’t wait!

Heeeell yeah! I’m so glad Rihanna decided to do a lot of dancing in the video. First time I heard this song I couldn’t stop dancing. Had my headphones on at work dancing. Listen Rhianna is a good artist but it amazes me what people say is good and not good it just makes me respect an artist like Dawn Richard even more because she can really sing and really dance but she gets hated on yet Rhianna who is talented but not as talented as Dawn gets celebrated.
Maybe I am wrong and in the minority but I think Rhianna works hard and does her thing but I do think Dawn has changed the game now when u watch this against Bombs it just does not compare

@Ftab, i can seriously respect your opinion however the reason why Rihanna is more successful is may be because her image, music, and fashion sense. Dawn hasn’t actually created those yet for people to see and we live in a generation where are artists need to have more.

Adele isn’t just famous because of her wonderful voice, people like how she talks, her old fashion look, and her personality.

Its past talent in this age you have to have more.

She is putting in effort and I think that any fan would be appreciative of that. It takes years of intense training and practice to become a professional dancer, so considering that Rihanna hasn’t had that, she did a good job. We finally get to see her bust a move! She has the hip movement on lock, though. Looking out for this one.

@SHAWTY, i’m infatuated with Rih. I think as far as packaging up a pop star goes, she is the most sophisticated and nuanced yet.

My thing is why do we pay her all this attention and she gets millions and millions to try? It’s like she gets all the fame and fortune, while practicing in every performance, on each tour, and on each album, slowly getting better and amazing us all with her baby steps.

She’s a hard working woman, no doubt, but sometimes I wonder if I should really be as entranced as I am. Whatever it is, Rih def. has some magic about her. Talent wise, I have to give it to Bey. There really is no comparison!
