The summer just got a litte hotter. Nas has announced the release date for his 10th album Life Is Good, due July 17.

His next single “Daughters,” produced by No I.D., will be released to iTunes and other digital retailers on May 1, while the video for “The Don” will premiere on Friday, April 27.

Life Is Good, Nas’ first solo album in four years, marks a return to his roots, with production from Salaam Remi, Hit-Boy, Swizz Beatz, and more.

“This is the Nas like really, ‘I’m trying to tear the skin off your face,'” said Tuo of production duo Da Internz, who co-produced “The Don.” “He’s not playing around. Nas is taking you back to the lyrics and concepts like It Was Written.”
