Rap-Up.com || New Music: Usher – ‘Scream’ [Snippet]

Usher took it to the “Climax” with his No. 1 single and now he wants to make you “Scream.” The R&B heartthrob goes all night on the fist-pumping club record, one of two new singles off his upcoming album Looking for Myself, due June 12. The full song is set to debut tomorrow at 9 a.m. EST, while the Rick Ross-assisted “Let Me See” will drop later today. Listen to a 22-second snippet of “Scream” below.

It’s always hard to tell from 22 seconds but it sounds alright. Climax is better though. I hope most of the album is more like that rather than just straight up dance.

you guys have heard 22 seconds and say the song is bad. same ppl said jlos dance again was bad after a snippet and now its a hit. believe it or not usher has gained a pop following that he needs to satisfy. Most artist would go all pop but he came out with climax first to satisfy his core rnb fans. I think now that he’s releasing 2 singles the man has earned the right to go pop on one. I bet the rozay collabo would be on the urban side. so anyone saying he has lost it is straight silly

@first, Please read before commenting. He has another single that is rnb coming out soon. Only male selling records that can still consider himself rnb is trey songz and dude has started rapping. ppl have to change with times, so saying he sucks coz you dont listen to pop is pretty dense.

@cnm, yessss! that’s what i thought ,but look at the chart position of “climax” It’s a great song nice mix of the two genres ,but it’s not doing well as I hoped; so of course he’s gonna go back to the generic stuff*sighs* alwell, I wished more people supported rnb because I can’t just keep suporting it, It won’t go nowhere.

Disappointed. I love Usher, but when he does generic pop songs like this I get really disappointed. Cause when I listen to an album, I want to listen to the whole thing without having to skip a track.
