Rap-Up.com || New Music: 2 Chainz f/ Drake

With features on singles for Kanye West and Nicki Minaj and rumors of signing to G.O.O.D. Music, 2 Chainz is hip-hop’s man of the moment. Now the former Playaz Circle member enlists Drake for “No Lie,” the first single off his upcoming Def Jam debut Based on a T.R.U. Story, due August 14. The two will perform the song live on the “Club Paradise” tour, kicking off May 7.

Does anyone know if the explicit version has already been released? Anyway, the song is nice! Drake’s verse felt more like something Lil Wayne would do, but it didn’t bother me and he had some nice lines. 2 Chainz, man… I don’t how to feel about him. He’s not lyrical, but nothing indicates that that is what he wants people to think of him as. 2 Chainz is about status and he does it in a charismatic way. If he didn’t blow up the way that he did, though, I probably wouldn’t have listened to his music.

whoever thinks 2Chainz is better then B.O.B go kill yourself(not literally), at this point 2Chainz is no better of a lyricist then Wiz, and if you know anything you know wiz is garbage lyrically they are just so likable and charismatic its hard to be, well hard on them haha
B.O.B has some great songs with great meanings, don’t always judge an artist by what you hear on the radio.
On the same subject, Kanye, Jay, Cudi, Big Sean, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Lupe Fiasco, Mos Def, and others I could keep going are some of the best rappers lyrically when they want to be.
