Usher, Nelly Furtado to Perform at Billboard Music Awards

Usher and Nelly Furtado are ready to rock Las Vegas. The superstar singers have joined the lineup of performers for the 2012 Billboard Music Awards, it was announced today.

Usher will bring some sizzle to Sin City on May 20, a month before his new album Looking for Myself drops. The project, due June 12, has produced the singles “Climax,” “Scream,” and “Lemme See” featuring Rick Ross.

Nelly Furtado will take the stage at the MGM Grand Arena with a performance of her new single “Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)” off her fifth album The Spirit Indestructible, due June 19.

Other performers include Justin Bieber, Cee Lo Green, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, LMFAO, Linkin Park, and The Wanted. The Billboard Music Awards will air live on May 20 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.

Adele, LMFAO, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Lil Wayne lead the finalists for this year’s show.
