French Montana, Wale, Meek Mill, Rick Ross, and Omarion

Fresh off announcing his signing to Maybach Music Group, Omarion appeared on BET’s “106 & Park” alongside his new boss Rick Ross and MMG labelmates Wale and Meek Mill.

“Ya’ll make some noise for the newest member of MMG, Omarion,” said Rozay, who explained how they linked up.

“It really boiled down to the music. He came down to Miami, we got in the studio. He recorded close to a dozen records and I was just so impressed, not to mention the fact he’s an entertainer, songwriter, actor, dancer. I just thought it was a great move and I wanted to see the homie shine.”

The former B2K member, who was previously signed to Young Money, explained why he decided to join Ross’ camp. “I think the relationship, bonding with somebody comes first,” said Maybach O. “I’ve been doing this for a long time and God has blessed me. More than anything, I really respect and I really like the way he moves like a boss. It takes one to know one.”

Omarion plans to release an EP and has already shot a video for his first single “Let’s Talk” featuring Rick Ross.

I’m surprised he didn’t go through with Cash Money, but Omarion is great and can easily be back on top. I respect Omarion for staying true to R&B, he’s also already had 2 #1 albums on the Billboard 200 without going pop in the process. His Awakening mixtape was great and so are all his albums.

This would be a good look, if Omarion would get a stylist. It’s crazy, the man comes out with a QVC channel charm bracelet, the blond streak, & he looks crazy. The whole MMG has crazy style, they new to call a stylist quick. Then it could work.
