Rap-Up.com || Santigold Rocks ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’

Santigold celebrated the release of her sophomore album Master of My Make-Believe with a performance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” The sassy singer commanded the stage with her band and dancers, who twirled umbrellas as they performed synchronized moves to her single “Disparate Youth.”

The night before she performed a show at New York’s Bowery Ballroom where members of her Roc Nation family including Jay-Z and Beyoncé were in attendance.

Rolling Stone raved about the album, calling it an “impeccably fashionable art-pop hodgepodge,” while the L.A. Times declared, “If a rebellion ever comes, someone had better give Santigold the microphone.”

Don’t they know that umbrella’s inside are bad luck? Oh Saniwipes… you are a rebel. Now that I’m done with my comedy bit, I never really got into Santigold, but I like that she’s not the norm and she doesn’t change to do the mainstream thing. Kudos to her.

What is this for shit? This is truely SHIT! I don’t get those critics that rave about this kind of music. This sounds like evil shit and she is a lame ass performer. Her voice is terrible also.

She been around for a while but hasn’t gotten very much big publicity but her last album was praised I think. She hasn’t gotten and huge hits but I like her.
