Rap-Up.com || Album Cover: Nelly Furtado – ‘The Spirit Indestructible’

Nelly Furtado unleashes the cover of her fifth studio album The Spirit Indestructible. Due June 19, the follow-up to 2006’s multi-platinum Loose features the Rodney Jerkins-produced single “Big Hoops (Bigger the Better),” as well as contributions from Nas, Salaam Remi, and Tiesto. A deluxe version, containing 18 tracks, includes appearances from Passion Pit’s Mike Angelakos and the Kenyan Boys Choir.

“It’s light in color so that it’s black-sharpie-ready for when I sign cd’s for the beautiful fans,” tweeted the Grammy-winning singer, who will perform at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on May 20.

According to Nelly, the video for “Big Hoops” will premiere by Monday, May 7. Peep the deluxe artwork below.

Not a fan of the top one, looks like the Loose cover but just different colours and brighter, can’t wait for the album though love Big Hoops and LOVED Loose

@@Lewis_Bennett, it looks NOTHING like Loose… on that cover she had on a white tank, her hair was blowing in the wind, and she was faced forward.

the only thing that is similar is the font she uses for her name, which she has used on EVERY ONE of her albums.

the NELLY FURTADO in big print on the top half of the cover is what makes it looks like Loose. but if you notice she has her name NELLY FURTADO in big print at the top on the cover of all her albums
