Rap-Up.com || André 3000 Arrives in Ireland to Film Jimi Hendrix Biopic

Where in the world is André 3000? The reclusive rapper, born André Benjamin, was spotted in Dublin, Ireland, where he is getting ready to shoot the Jimi Hendrix biopic All Is by My Side. He didn’t seem too happy to see photographers, covering his face with his jacket and a copy of The Irish Times newspaper as he strolled the streets with a bodyguard.

According to the Irish Film and Television Network, the movie is currently in pre-production and the shoot will last six weeks.

The film, which stars the OutKast member, will explore the rock legend’s early career, including his time spent in England in 1966 and 1967 while working on his classic debut Are You Experienced. John Ridley (Three Kings) will write and direct.

While there are no current plans for a new OutKast album, 3000 is working on a solo project. “I’m going to get back to having fun,” he told GQ.

who better to potray the life of this tremendous musical genius of our time, jimi hendrix, a legend that we can proudly say hands down was the best in his time.

I have listened and listened to jimi hendrix all over again, i am absolutely certain that if this script is well written, Andre 3000 will for once ressurect his artistry through this opportunity. I cant wait to see the finished product cant wait!!!!!

Andre 3000 is part of one of the greatest hip hop groups of all time in Outkast, and Andre 3000 is one of the greatest rappers ever. Andre 3000 is a musical genius and good actor. There is no other actor I can think of right now who is better to play a musical genius like Jimi Hendrix than Andre 3000 who is also a musical genius. I hope this new Jimi Hendrix movie is great. I am looking forward to Andre 3000′s first solo album.
