Rap-Up.com || Nicki Minaj Wows at Wango Tango

Nicki Minaj was queen of the night at KIIS FM’s Wango Tango at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. on Saturday. Decked out in all white with Air Force 1 sneakers, the blonde Barb put on a royal performance following sets from J. Cole, B.o.B, Wiz Khalifa, and Big Sean. She opened with “Roman Holiday” before delivering cleaned-up versions of “Did It On’em,” “I Am Your Leader,” and “Beez in the Trap.”

Nicki will headline several other radio concerts across the country before kicking off the European leg of her “Pink Friday” tour in early June. She will return to the U.S. in July for more dates.

Nicki Minaj did a great job at Wango Tango . Nicki and a few others kept the crowd alive the whole time they were on the stage . Wango Tango need to put up her whole performance because last night on live stream it got cut off . But I heard she also did Whip It , Pound The Alarm , Starships & Super Bass ( I Think ).Overall the show was pretty good and Nicki did a great job

I’m a big fan of Nicki, but I can honestly say I have YET to see a live performance (besides “Save Me” on New Year’s Eve of 2010 i think) that I LOVED. Hopefully I’ll see one when her tour comes to M.I.A. If she focused more on her strengths (rapping) instead of her weakness (dancing/choreo), I think her performances would be SO much better. While I do find it cute to watch her dance a little, it doesn’t change the fact that that’s not where her talent is. Bring back that bitch that used to rock the stage with a mic and a 2-step!

I worked wango tango n her set was awesome. Esp in comparison with some of her recent performances. She had people going crazy. It was surprisingly a more hip hop based line up this year. LA showed her mad love. Like mad love.

So I watched her whole performance on YouTube and it’s clear to say performance isn’t her thing. She rapped all her rap songs, but when she performed ‘Whip It’, all she did was prance around and lip synch. She sung ‘RBMS’ and a lil in ‘TMO’ but she could’ve did better. I can’t say much about ‘SB’ and ‘SS’ because the video and audio all together was jacked. You can clearly see she’s strong in the rap area but not in the performing, dancing, and singing area. When she performed ‘Dance A$$ (Remix)’ and tried to shake her ass……… (logs off) SHE FAILED. What you fans need to learn is when you feel your artist is doing something disappointing, TELL THEM so they can’t stop! Otherwise, take other people’s opinions like a champ because you shouldn’t have nothing to worry about…… IN Y’ALL EYES.
