i think ppl are judging her too harsh…look at from a dancer who u never saw hold a mic, the song might not be the bomb, but her voice sounds better than some of the singers out there, i didnt hear a pitch problem at all…black ppl don’t know how to build their ppl up, only good at destroying each other, if this was a white women, u’ll see white blogs everywhere talking about her like she was the shit, she will make money and move on to other projects…sad sad sad ppl full of hate

@naira, Why should mediocre be acceptable. Its not about race. Its about good music, which of course is a matter of personal preference. But it seems like your asking ppl to accept just ok. The song is a mockery of real art and ppl who put blood and sweat into their art, when someone can just come along, grab a electro beat, put autotune on their voice and feed it to the people when the industry is oversaturated with this shit

@SMH, But what is REAL art? Who says Electro dance isn’t art. And this is not just anyone, this is someone who has lent her talents for years for the likes of Mary J Blige, to Biggie, Puff, Faith, Lil Kim, Brandy, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Danity Kane,Jojo, Keri Hilson, and someone who studied under Debbie Allen. Is that enough passion for you? And when she performs, you will see her art- trust me. Shit the movie “Honey” was about her life. Get a reality check. If you don’t like a certain style of music, good, but you clearly sound like someone who doesn’t like this style of music. Rock on Laurieann and let the dance music haters bask.

I AGREE WITH NAIRA SHE’S THE BADDEST DANCER OUT THERE, THE ILLEST CREATIVE DIRECTOR OUT (HAD YA’LL BELIEVING LADY GAGA COULD DANCE AND WAS CREATIVE LOL) HAD VISUALS CANT BE DENIED!!! @SMH, I totally disagree. You live here in America but Dance music is world wide. And the last time I checked Laurieann has and is passionate about her gift of dance. She is one of the best in this business, one of the few working black females. This is her way to express her form of dance because you know she is gonna give that performance. Maybe she is tired of teaching these non dancers (Gaga, Nicki, the list goes on) how to dance. As someone who is actually into dance music, this is great to play in the club and a good workout song. All Electro pop dance Music Uses autotune, hell So does rnb these days. It’s different from what u call “real music”, there certainly a place for Electro dance, you just dont like it at all. Laurieann keep dong what you do!

Hi Laurieann I am so happy for you and of your accomplishment’s. I loved your show born to dance and I was wondering if you are going to be doing a show like that soon. If you are going to be doing a show like that soon I am most defiantly going to be auditioning even though I do not have any dance training.
