Rap-Up.com || Kreayshawn Taps Kid Cudi, 2 Chainz, and Diplo for Debut

Kreayshawn’s “Gucci Gucci” became a viral sensation and landed her a lucrative deal with Columbia Records. Now the Oakland rapper is about to feed her fans’ appetite for more with her upcoming debut Somethin’ Bout Kreay.

During a Livestream session, she revealed some of her collaborators on the album including 2 Chainz, Kid Cudi, Chippy Nonstop, DB Tha General, V-Nasty, Sissy Nobby, and Diplo.

“One song will be super Bay, like trying to ‘Function’ and one song will be I’m about to shake my ass with Sissy Nobby in New Orleans, and then one song will be I’m about to hit the jukestep in Chicago with Chippy,” she said.

The video for the first single “Breakfast” featuring 2 Chainz will premiere on Monday, May 21. “It’s the most important meal of the day, so everybody needs their breakfast,” said the 22-year-old. “It will be a great music video because I directed it and everything I direct is great.”

Kreayshawn, who will perform at the Bamboozle festival in New Jersey this weekend, also expressed her desire to release a mixtape called Screamin’ Kreay Hawkins.
