Olivia takes it to the islands with Mavado on their breezy duet “Soldier Girl.” The former G-Unit signee holds things down for her man through good and bad times as she sings over steel drums. Recently signed to Jerry Wonda’s imprint Wonda Music, the R&B songstress is working on a new album, Show the World, and taping the third season of VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop.”
I Like it! I feel like since shes left Murder inc. she has alot more freedom with her music, her single with Busta threw me off but this is nice! Go Girl im ready for your comeback!
@RDK, yea it is that’s the best part of the whole song. W/ Olivia ties to JA I wouldn’t thought she would be better. It was a lil too slow for my taste and w/ this being her comeback CD she really should’ve done a whole lot more. Maybe she’ll do a remix w/her BFF Cecile..not dat wld be MAADDD!!!
Saw one episode of her show and she said she didn’t want to take the record deal she was offered because it wasn’t the sound she wanted. She’s BEEN done, but she sealed her fate with that.
I’ve been a fan of and have been rooting for Olivia since the very beginning…well, I’m still rooting for her. But I don’t think this is it. I think she really missed the mark on using the reality show, as ratchet as it it, as a platform to boost her music career. Her sound now to me is just blah and boring. She’s been going at this for a while now and I wouldn’t tell her to give up on her dreams, but it’s probably time to start possibly thinking about a plan b. I’m just sayin.

People will say it’s wack because it’s Olivia.
