Rap-Up.com || Alicia Keys Readies New Music for Summer

It’s been two-and-a-half years since Alicia Keys released her last album The Element of Freedom. But the Grammy-winning songbird is only a couple months away from her return.

Still coming off the high of performing with Stevie Wonder at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards, an excited Alicia teased her fifth album. “Right now I’m actually finishing baking up the most incredible musical cake that you’ve ever eaten in your life,” she told Downtown Julie Brown.

“The music is coming within the next couple of months, so we’re really putting all the final touches on it and I am in a whole other zone. I’m really excited about this music.”

She has been in the studio with Pop & Oak, Kerry “Krucial” Brothers, and Swizz Beatz, among others. “The topics that she’s speaking about are super deep and from the heart, and to me what music has been missing,” her husband Swizz told Angie Martinez. “It’s the thing that makes us special as an artist. I tell her, ‘Yo, I’m proud of you because you’re making timeless pieces.’”

She has other projects in the works as well. “I’ve really fallen in love with producing, film, television, and Broadway,” added Alicia.

Alicia Keys and Kanye West are my favorite artist of all-time. There the only artist who get better with every album. I bet Alicia’s album is gonna be the best album of the year.

Alicia Keys never disappoints me. She stays true to R&B and she hasn’t gone pop. She is what you call a TRUE artist. And to @Lord, Alicia Keys and Ashanti are in their own lanes, don’t compare them, they are good in their own ways both proving to still be the Princesses of R&B.

Alicia seems like a really sweet and down to earth person. I don’t know how anyone could say anything bad about her. I’m sure most of the people commenting negatively have never stopped to think that she lives in a totally different world and over the years she’s proven to be a very caring and humble person. Her personal life is her own and I think she’s one celebrity who should hold her head up high for not giving in to the pressures that a lot of celebrities seem to sucumbe to. Actually Alicia is an icon and a legend already.

Alicia Keys albums are all classics masterpieces. I can’t wait for the next album and I am ready to go to her concerts they are for people who truly love the essence of music.

I went to both concerts in New York and they were so magically.

That’s a real shame, I am a North Wales boy, I’ve lived in most towns along the cost and visit a few times a year. North Wales is home to me. This song almost made me cry, I tugohht it painted a beatiful picture of my home. It didn’t offend me at all.g
