Kalenna gets gangsta with it in the video for “Put It in a Bag” off her mixtape Chamber of Diaries. The former Dirty Money diva, who was just nominated for Best Group at the BET Awards, makes a statement with her bold look and blonde hair as she drops bossy bars alongside rapper B Simm in a luxurious mansion in Geneva, Switzerland.

“I’m ’bout my business, fu**er, call me Erin Brockovich/ Life is good now, since I shaved half my head/ I say f**k ‘em, dump the clip, and lay ‘em all down,” raps the Philly native.

@Redchainsaw, I agree about blacks girls and blonde hair like that, but i wont deny kalenna as a phenomenal songwriter (She has some gems on her mixtape) because as medicore and basic as it sounds, it’s sooo clever. “Get down, lay down, put it in a bag” i wouldn’t doubt that tons of rappers would have bought that hook from her.

She has written better songs. This is below her talent.This is pure noise. Something soulja Boy would release.smh.
Loved her movement with Dawn and Diddy. They had something really special and unique about them. Dawn has embraced her unique lane and has risen the bar with her sound. Kalenna seems lost.Cant take her serious with this sound. This is the same women who has Russian Grammys.She is better than this.

@WonderLand19, You need to slap yourself for that “Soulja Boy” comment. Yes this song isn’t the best off her mixtape, but it isn’t that bad!
And in my opinion, Kalenna is 10x better then Dawn. she has the sound, style, and eventho she doesn’t have the “Beyonce” type looks, she still gets your attention in some type of way.
Kalenna’s whole mixtape is better then anything Dawn has released. I like Dawn but she jacked TF outta Kalenna in her “Bombs” video.

Kalenna is actually bringing something you don’t see now a days. and that’s ATTITUDE and TALENT.

This song is commercial and that’s why it was released. It’s NOT an alternative to the RNB songs on her mixtape, it’s a rap record. Kalenna is a singer/rapper. Even when she sings, she’s rapping. Love her, the video not so much.

PS: So what she is not Vanessa Williams, it’s music, it’s for the ear, not the eyes..

I loved it from the location which matched well with the song (mansion with a chandelier in the Swizz), the avant-garde Asian street-fashion styling and the writing is catchy serving its purpose as a club hit backed by dope productio and good feature. So definitely no hate on this end, keep doing you and pay no mind to the masses who attack others cowardly behind computer/mobile screens just to validate their own selves & their need to be publicly heard no matter how offensive, unnecessary and down right degrading to the artist & really themselves as it only showcases their own lack of intellect & stupidity.

I actually enjoy watching her, shes very creative..lady gaga, missy, nicki minaj type fused into one. People fear what they dont understand, they want to fit kalenna in the same mold but her astitic is that shes animated an different. Im feelin the make up and hair, we rock different shaved cuts like that in atl where kalenna lives. Her mixtape being fyiah from beginning to the last track she shits on dawn my opinion.
