Lil Wayne may have beef with Pusha T, but that hasn’t hurt his relationship with Big Sean. Weezy enlists the G.O.O.D. Music rapper for “My Homies Still,” the first single off his 10th studio album I Am Not a Human Being II, the sequel to his 2010 release. The song is expected to debut tomorrow. Rap-Up.com has your first look at the cover artwork.

I think this will be huge. Many people may disagree but I really think Big Sean might be one of the best rappers out right now. LYRICALLY he will sh*t on almost every other rapper right now. I can see him at Kanye status after some years or so.

@Kwayzee, i think Big Sean is a great rapper. but he isn’t not even in the top 10 best rappers. he isn’t really a deap rapper(i’m not saying he doesn’t have songs with meaning. But that isn’t his strong point). He is like a rapper who best songs are meant for the clubs. He’s good but he’ll never be Kanye status

@Kwayzee, Sorry but big sean is not a really good lyricist a good lyricist would be a Nas, Eminem, Jcole, Lupe Fiasco. Big Sean is not even close to that level of lyricism.

[...] Well, well, well… what do we have here? Looks like Wayne is grabbing Sean for the first single (dropping tomorrow) off his upcoming album, I Am Not A Human Being 2. I’d like to think this was recorded before the whole Pusha T / Lil Wayne situation, but with a title like this? Who knows. Either way, it’s gonna be interesting to hear. Shouts to Rap-Up. [...]

This was recorded BEFORE any “beef” with Pusha T, people.
I thought Weezy said F anybody who loves Pusha?? Why release a track with Big Sean then?
Because Weezy’s a MESSY QUEEN & a liar trying to hype up a project! Stick a fork in it, Weezy. You’re time has come 7 gone

You guys are either real naive? Or real dumb! It’s obvious that this song was recorded weeks if not months before any beef surfaced between Wayne & T.
The reason why Wayne would release this now is a political move of war. Like when Pac released the song he recorded with Faith Evans right when the beef was brewing between deathrow & badboy… It’s chess not checkers. Why you think Pusha ain’t respond yet??? He’s patiently waiting for his next move. And believe me… When he does? He’s gonna go innn on Wayne…. I fuck wit weezy, but that Goulish joint? C’mon… Smh

Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV had great record sales, but Tha Carter IV didn’t live up to the higher expectations that many people outside Lil Wayne’s fanbase thought it could live up to. I thought Tha Carter IV had a couple of good songs, but the rest of the album was terrible. I hope Lil Wayne’s I Am Not Human Being II Album is way better than Tha Carter IV. I have no problem with Lil Wayne doing a song with Big Sean. People need to remember that Lil Wayne and Pusha T had been going against each other years before YMCMB and Good Music Records both became more famous.
This song must had been recorded months ago, before Lil Wayne and Pusha T started beefing again. I don’t think Big Sean is going to get involved in the beef between Lil Wayne and Pusha T, unless someone from YMCMB starts dissing Big Sean. I respect Big Sean, but I see Big Sean as a club rapper more than a lyrical rapper. Big Sean is relevant right now, but Big Sean got a long way to go before he reaches Kanye West status.

[...] Keeping in mind the recent YMCMB vs. G.O.O.D. Music beef that’s been going on (see here and here), today Lil Wayne shares the cover art for his next single titled “My Homies Still.” What’s going to catch the eyes of most is that the song features G.O.O.D. Music emcee Big Sean. Weezy states in the opening line of his diss track “Goulish,” “Fu*k Pusha T and anybody that love em,” and being that Sean and Pusha are both label mates it’ll be interesting to see what stems from the upcoming release. The track is being reported to debut tomorrow, and will appear on Lil Wayne’s upcoming album I Am Not a Human Being II. Source: Rap-Up [...]
