Rap-Up.com || Kelly Rowland Celebrates Vegas Magazine Cover

Kelly Rowland sizzled in Sin City at the 9th anniversary party for Vegas magazine at The Cosmopolitan on Saturday. Looking gorgeous in green, the R&B diva celebrated her cover with her friend La La Anthony and performed for the crowd (see photos from the issue).

In the issue, Kelly recalled performing her first Vegas show with Destiny’s Child at the House of Blues at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino when she was 18. “There was just an energy of being there, and I remember thinking, I can’t wait till I’m older!” she said. “The whole atmosphere was really fun.”

Kelly has been in the studio working on her fourth solo album, which she is dedicating to her fellow females. “I’m making this album for my ladies, oh, yes, and it is strong,” she shared. “All of the producers I’ve been working with get the concept so much that they brought in a little more aggressive—and sometimes masculine—approach, but there is a really incredible top line: I want to tell women how incredible we are, how our intuition is so spot-on. Sometimes we don’t listen to it, but it is the thing that can actually make us happier.”

Although I was aware of this morning show I had never wtaehcd it before and now I know why. She hardly gives a guest a chance to talk. She reminded me of the annoying talk show host on Alton’s Slaw episode of Good Eats.
