Keri Hilson, Ludacris, & Far East Movement Volunteer at Atlanta High School
Keri Hilson, Ludacris, and Far East Movement kicked off the first day of summer by giving back to the community as part of DoSomething.org and Bing’s “Summer of Doing” campaign. The superstars took time out of their busy schedules and paid a visit to Osborne High School near Atlanta, working alongside volunteers to help restore Cobb County’s oldest school.
ATL’s own Miss Keri tapped into her creative side while painting a mural outside the school cafeteria. “It gives your life a purpose and you may not realize that when you’re young, but it really does give you a sense of appreciation, a humbleness that you wouldn’t get if you weren’t being so selfless,” said the “Pretty Girl Rock” singer, who was encouraged to volunteer at a young age.
Far East Movement was happy to help. “Osborne high for volunteer work. Do something for ur community this summer! Shouts to miss Keri n Luda,” tweeted the group, who just released their latest album Dirty Bass.
