Rap-Up.com || Mariah Carey Teases ‘Summer 2012′ Project

Mariah Carey has a surprise in store for her Lambs. The pop diva has been dropping clues on Twitter about a mysterious project, which she plans to release this summer.

“So.. Summer 2012.. Been in the lab, mixing up some concoctions for you, hope you like it!! #MCSummer2012,” she tweeted along with an image that reads “MC: Summer 2012.”

While she has remained coy on details, she has been in the studio with Jermaine Dupri, Bryan-Michael Cox, DJ Clue, and Randy Jackson working on new music.

Nick Cannon also confirmed that his wife was back at work on her first non-holiday album since 2009’s Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. “She’s rejuvenated and ready to start sharing some of the amazing new music she has been making in the studio,” he said.

The Grammy-winning singer recently performed a new song called “Bring It on Home” for President Obama and the First Lady at a private fundraiser in New York. She has also penned a record called “Mesmorized” for Lee Daniels’ upcoming film The Paperboy.

@climax baby, No Thanks!! Stay at home raising the twins. She is done as well. Mariah hasn’t sung a good tune since “Dream Lover”. Her vocals are just not there anymore.

I am perfusely elated and have been starving for som real talent unlike what is out today! i know sex sells but does ur whole album have to be about sex, Ie rihanna nicki minaj so on so forth!! The queen makes her return and i feel another TEOM year comming on!! and you forgot to put that she got a standing O for her performance of “bring it on home” to bad there is only a distorted 20sec clip of it on youtube!!

Can’t wait for some new music from MC. The last few years she was only in the spotlight regarding her pregnancy, fragrances, illness and Jenny Graig diet programm… that didn’t do well for her.

She released MC II You and loved Oh Santa and When Christmas Comes but it’s time for a real album. I like the sound of Mimi and E=MC2 more than Memoirs though…

First and foremost I do not know people come on to this link to just comment with such negative things. People always want to point out the parts of performances where Mariah Carey messes up, but the reality of it is, is mess ups happen. I love how because Whitney Houston was on crack and died people want to give Whitney Houston so much credit. I am Whitney Houston fan do not get me wrong, I bought her last album and everything, but any true Houston fan will tell you her voice DRAMATICALLY changed in 1998. Mariah’s voice isn’t always perfect, but she puts on a good performance at least 80% of the time or more. Mariah Carey still ships millions of copies every time she releases albums. Go to RIAA.COM and search Mariah Carey on the database and check her record sales. She is being books all over the world to do concerts, and she hasn’t had an album sense 2010. And that was Christmas album! And she was booked on every Christmas special, and even had her own, and sung her butt of with twins in her stomach. Youtube. I am a Mariah Carey fan and I can stand by her and will stand by no matter what.
