Earlier this week, Dawn Richard debuted the dance-heavy video for “Automatic,” the second single off her EP Armor On. Now she breaks us off with some bonus footage from the rehearsals. See the former Danity Kane diva practice her choreography and maybe learn a new move or two.

I don’t know ya’ll I think Dawn can give Ciara a run for her money dance-wise. This girl can flat out go. The video does not even do the choreography justice. This girl is a straight beast. Would love to see her and Chris Brown perform. Why is she not on the BET Awards again? (BET Epic Fail)

she and teyana tayor can give C competition but the thing is they have to get on the radar. C keeps F’in up and don’t get her act together and they coming. C got footwork though. but they are mcuh better options than a keri wilson that’s for sure

@ftab, I think we haven even seen what dawn can really do. I think dawn I’d classically trained unlike ciara or teyana. So I think she is in another level. I think dawn is just getting started She is bomb. And yes for those isabel marant sneakers!

I love dawn. She is a beast at what she does and she really grinds. It is evident that she wants this bad and it is true that a lot of artist out cannot touch her prowess but for you all to even think that she can come for Ciara in dancing. Dawn is not on Ciara’s level. Ciara is like the modern day Janet Jackson. She has a lot of Michael in her. Dawn couldn’t even come for beyoncé, who is one of the greatest performers of all time. I personally feel Dawn aint messing with Teyana either but they could be about equal.

@Crank, Ciara can’t sing, which is why I compared her to the modern day Janet . Janet wasn’t known for her voice in her heyday, she was known for performing. Being trained has nothing to do with anything. There are many people who aren’t properly trained that dance better than people who are and last time I checked beyoncé trained at the alvin ailey dance academy. Fact of the matter is this, dawn is great but I don’t think she’s on ciara or beyonce’s level, they can do it all from footwork and all.
