Iggy Azalea tackled the tough questions from Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy, and Angela Yee during her visit to Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club.” No question was off limits—from whether she would make a sex tape to rumors that she’s dating A$AP Rocky. The Australian rap diva, who recently parted ways with her label and management team at Interscope, is waiting for T.I. to release his album Trouble Man before she drops her debut The New Classic. Find out why her Interscope deal fell through, why people will “hate [her] guts” for her Glory EP, and the prospects of a Nicki Minaj collaboration.

On why her deal with Interscope fell apart: “They didn’t want Tip to be an ongoing part of my deal. They just wanted him to produce one album and me and Tip were like, ‘No, it has to be in there so it’s the whole thing.’”

On what Australia thinks of her success: “I don’t think they love me too much ’cause I never hear from anybody over there.”

On rumors that she’s dating A$AP Rocky: “If we even are a couple… If I were in a relationship in life, you would never hear me talk about it. I just believe that some things you have to keep to yourself.”

On her Glory EP: “I know a lot of people are probably going to hate my guts for Glory ’cause it’s so hip-hop and Ignorant Art is kinda more electronic.”

On her sexuality: “My mom, she thought I was a lesbian because I would never be with guys.”

On Azealia Banks: “You know what’s really creepy is she’s a Gemini and so am I. We should just get married.”

On a potential collaboration with Nicki Minaj: “I think I need to progress a lot more before she would ever even consider doing that ’cause I definitely can’t pay her to do it.”

@theTRUFF, um well nicki album didn’t do as well as hoped it is not considered a flop because she was number one in so many countries and it didn’t sell less than half of pf now beyonce album was called a flop because it sold less than ever before but both 4 and pfrr are personal albums so sales really don’t mean as much because they were made for fans and the artist personally both departed from what they are known for also now you don’t believe type in 4 flop and type in pfrr flop and see who is considered a flop

@shadd, Totally agree! I love Nicki, Foxy, Remy, and while I don’t love every thing Iggy puts out I respect her because so many people hate on her and she just keeps going trying. Instead of saying she’s the best or she’s the queen lets just worry about being happy for all female rappers. People don’t do this to male rappers, who I feel tend to be out done by the females.

I like Iggy, she’s a beautiful girl, but it doesn’t seem like she’s doing anything.

Before she got with T.i she was releasing music, videos, etc…

Now all she does is interviews, that song “Murda Bizness” was suppose to be her 1st single wasn’t it? and that came out a while ago.

I think maybe she should have went with Interscope, because eventho she’s working with Tip, she’s still an independent artist.
