Tracklisting: Nas – ‘Life Is Good’

Life Is Good

It’s a celebration on Nas’ 10th album Life Is Good. Due July 17, the 18-track deluxe edition features appearances from Mary J. Blige, Rick Ross, Large Professor, Miguel, Anthony Hamilton, and the late Amy Winehouse, with production by Salaam Remi, No I.D., Swizz Beatz, Rodney Jerkins, Da Internz, Noah “40” Shebib, and more.

“My mindset was to pull out a side of me that people haven’t heard in a while and give ‘em that feeling that they haven’t felt in a while—a feeling that I love,” Nas told Rap-Up.com. “And some of that feeling is ’90s-esque, some of that feeling is 2015. It’s just a feeling that I feel to be a timeless sound.”

@MinajRules2012, Nas is one of the greatest rappers of all time. Nas is irrelevant when it comes to mainstream hip hop because Nas will never sell his soul and completely sell out just to sell more platinum records in this new era of hip hop. Nas doesn’t need mainstream hip hop songs that are close to mainstream pop music just so he can get on the radio again. You make seem like Nas’ career has always been a struggle to get on the radio. Nas has made 8 platinum selling albums, 2 gold selling albums and has been nominated for a lot of Grammy Awards. Nas made 3 classic hip hop albums in Illmatic, It Was Written, and Untitled. Nas will always be relevant to underground hip hop fans, unbiased hip hop fans, and unbiased music fans. I love both mainstream hip hop and underground hip hop, I am looking forward to Nas’ Life Is Good Album, whether you like Nas, or not.

I understand that you like Nicki Minaj’s music, but you can come across as being biased and hateful with some, if not all your comments in support of Nicki Minaj. Keep in mind, Nicki Minaj’s first album went platinum, but Nicki Minaj’s second album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded struggled to go certified gold, and is struggling to go certified platinum right now. Outside of Nicki Minaj’s hardcore music fanbase, Nicki Minaj has lost a lot of respect from unbiased music fans, unbiased hip hop fans, hardcore underground hip hop music fans, and hardcore mainstream hip hop music fans. Nicki Minaj has received a lot of criticism for making songs like Stupid Ho, which got bad reviews even on Youtube. Nicki Minaj received a lot of criticism for her performance at the 2012 Grammy Awards, which a lot of people thought her performance was terrible. Nicki Minaj received more criticism for deleting her Twitter account because she was upset with criticism from one of her fans before reopen her Twitter account. I give Nicki Minaj credit for having talent, and making a lot of money, but you need to stop acting like Nicki Minaj is better than everyone, because she clearly is not, especially when it comes to putting out great music. Let’s see if Nicki Minaj last over 10 years in the music industry like Nas did, before we compare Nicki Minaj to everyone.
