Kelly Rowland Chills with Lil Wayne on New Single ‘Ice’
Kelly Rowland is keeping cool this summer. Following the success of their chart-topping single “Motivation,” the R&B diva is reuniting with Lil Wayne for “Ice.”
Their collaboration, which is expected to debut tomorrow, was helmed by Sean Garrett. “I feel really excited about this single and Kelly’s new album!” the hitmaker told Rap-Up.com. “Wayne is a movie and Kelly Rowland is as sexy as ever!”
Kelly tweeted some of the song’s lyrics. “Your lovin’ be givin’ me chills, you’re like ice,” she wrote, adding part of Weezy’s verse. “Ice, ice baby, shake that thing just like dice baby.”
The Destiny’s Child alum, who will star on the Australian TV show “Everybody Dance Now,” is putting the finishing touches on the follow-up to 2011’s Here I Am. “It’s a very urban, R&B, sexy, unexpected record on this next album,” Kelly told Unravel Travel TV. “It’s gonna make you think. It’s gonna make you wonder.”
