Fresh off his win for Best Male R&B Artist, Chris Brown lit up the stage at the BET Awards 2012. With half his body painted, a shirtless Breezy performed “Don’t Wake Me Up” as laser beams shot across the stage. He kept the party going with “Turn Up the Music.” See him bring down the house.

I’m not even a Chris Brown fan and I can admit that he has shown a ton of vocal growth. He definitely did his thing and I appreciate the fact that he is no longer lip singing his performances something I had previously come on this blog and drag him for. Breezy you are talented and although I can’t cosign the mess you always got going on in your personal life you definitely always light up a stage. Continue growing vocally and continue being the great entertainer you are becoming.

There’s a time in your life when you just have to ignore everyone. If you get into the people who STAY talking negative about you, you’ll lose yourself. Chris has been trying, after trying, after trying, and he STILL gets this. DWMU was performed beautifully. TUTM could’ve been better but at least he gave y’all one vocal performance and one dancing performance. As far as y’all comparing him to Rihanna; she could never. PERIOD. Rihanna has been struggling, vocally, before she was signed. Singing live isn’t her thing. Chris gave me better vocals. Idc. I pray God keeps Chris head up because this is ridiculous. Congrats on the awards and the Grammy. Well deserved.

@Josh., please stop because critics JUST gave her acclaim for her vocals during hackney so JUST STOP…either you like it or not this was not his best performance and rihanna (in this era) has been outsinging christopher, no bias, no hate, just facts

chris can find comfort in his dancing where no one will touch him but he needs to improve vocally and emotionally

@Josh., First of all, I’ll have you know that the Grammy discussion is MY opinion and I STAND by it! You need to learn how to respect others’ opinions, because everyone will not AGREE with yours. That’s LIFE. Now, anyone with two working ears who listened to F.A.M.E. know not only was this not Chris’ best album, it wasn’t a particularly STRONG R&B album, as opposed to his debut and sophomore in particular. If anything in this equation is ridiculous, it’s the fact that you sound like a 12 year old girl. So, you can take your little pissy attitude and SHOVE IT!

We all are human beings everything don’t always go to plan, sometimes rehearsals might be perfect but come the actual day of the performance any number of things could go wrong.Breezy tried and I hope he continues to strive for perfection…I wonder why people keep comparing Rihanna and Chris they are 2 different people boy and girl they are going to sing or sound different .
