Rick Ross sticks to the formula on “Hold Me Back,” the latest cut off his highly-anticipated album God Forgives, I Don’t, due July 31. “Deez ni**as won’t hold me back/ Deez hos wanna hold me back,” raps Rozay on the bossy street anthem, which recalls Rico Love’s hook on “Actin’ Up,” Wale and Meek Mill’s collaboration off the Self Made, Vol. 2 compilation.

i been a huge ross fan since deeper than rap and i thought teflon don was a classic but im sorry i gotta be honest this song along with so sophisicated and touch n you are alll 3 mediocre songs especially for an ALBUM this song here and so sophisicated sound like good mixtape songs aT BEST i was expectin much more from ross on god forgives i dont it seem like he tryna appeal to the streets too much and all his shit sound the same now

Damn I was actually looking forward to this! Exactly like actin up. Ross’ only decent single so far off this album is So Sophisticated. As much as Ive been waiting for GFID i have to hear something else to cop that. I copped Self Made 2 and there was some bangers. But this right here is AVERAGE best. Could swore on the 2nd first his delievery sounded just like French Montana. He should really stop chillin with dude and puttn him on albums. French is a dick rider to the fullest. He claims NY but no borough and dick rides the south on every angle.
