Rap-Up.com || Album Cover: 2 Chainz – ‘Based on a T.R.U. Story’

2 Chainz rocks two chains on the simple cover of his upcoming album Based on a T.R.U. Story. Due August 14, the Atlanta rapper’s Def Jam debut features the Drake-assisted single “No Lie,” plus an appearance from Nicki Minaj.

Fresh off his collaborations with Kanye West, Ciara, Chris Brown, and Justin Bieber, the in-demand MC will hit the road with Nicki on the U.S. leg of her “Pink Friday” tour, kicking off July 16 in Chicago.

I usually listen to Hov,Ye, Common, Nas, Talib.But I still like to have fun and listen to Big Sean and ASAP Rocky as well. “No Lie” has grown on me and goes kinda hard; but 2 Chainz is kind of a wildcard to me at this point. His solo stuff kinda sucks imo, but his collabs with G.O.O.D music,Big Krit, and Currensy are dope. This album cover is dope as well, so I hope he has some songs that shut the haters up on this.

Nope i love 2 chianz but this cover doesn’t make sense. The name says “Based On a T.R.U Story” but the cover is “Two Chains with the name at the right bottom, if you squeeze your eyes you can see” *smh*. Well i know the album gon have good collabos on it but as far as the cover goes it’s truly senseless.
