Nas opens up about his marriage and divorce to ex-wife Kelis on “Bye Baby,” the closing track off his 10th album Life Is Good, in stores July 17. “Why did we mess it up, we was friends, we had it all/ Reason you don’t trust men, that was your daddy’s fault,” raps Nas over a soulful sample of Guy’s “Goodbye Love.”

@MmmHmm, I doubt it. Nas doesn’t make any money anymore and Kelis owes so much money to IRS, she needs a baller and Nas is broke. He is wasting time by releasing this flopped album, he should go make guaranteed money, like stage plays.

@MinajRules2012, you never fail to amaze me with your hate towards other music artists who are not your favorite music artist. Nas will always be one of the greatest rappers of all-time, and arguably the greatest rapper ever. Listen to the album first before you judge someone. Nas has made 8 platinum selling albums and classic albums like Illmatic, It Was Written, Stillmatic, God’s Son, and Untitled. Your favorite music artist Nicki Minaj has yet to have a long successful career like Nas have, and Nicki Minaj hasn’t made a classic album yet either. You need to come off your high horse, take your medication, and stop being bias towards music artists who are not your favorites just because you don’t listen to all of music.

@MinajRules2012, Nas represents what real hip hop stands for right now. Nas is an underground hip hop artist who makes underground hip hop music right now. Nicki Minaj is a mainstream hip hop artist who makes mainstream hip hop music and mainstream pop music right now. I give Nicki Minaj credit when credit is due, Nicki Minaj is a talented rapper, but she seems to be more concerned with making mainstream pop music then pushing mainstream hip hop to a new level. Nas doesn’t care about commercial success, and selling great records anymore. Nas has made enough platinum albums to the point where he could put out a great critical acclaimed album, and the album can still get great, critical reviews, even if the album flops commercially. Selling great records don’t mean shit, if your album is garbage. Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV sold 1 million copies in a week, and that album turned out to be terrible. Nas is a hip hop legend who made the greatest hip hop album of all time in Illmatic, and Illmatic flopped commercially, but Illmatic still considered a great masterpiece. There are plenty of music artists who don’t sell a lot of records and still put out good music.

@MinajRules2012, Don’t forget that your Nicky choosed Nas in one of her video, that she have a song on her flop album with Nas, and for all, this song was on of the best of her album.
