Frank Ocean Kicks Off ‘channel ORANGE’ Tour in Seattle

Frank Ocean

With his album still holding strong at No. 1 on iTunes, Frank Ocean kicked off his channel ORANGE tour at Showbox at the Market in Seattle on Friday night. The Odd Future star performed new material off his critically-acclaimed album for the first time live including “Sweet Life” and “Pyramids,” plus the familiar “Novacane” and “American Wedding” off 2011’s Nostalgia, Ultra.

After wrapping his North American trek, Ocean will join Coldplay’s European arena tour in late August.

“Strawberry Swings” gives me thee most euphoric feeling , ever .

Yes I agree. That song is beautiful. Especially that kind of bridge/outro that starts with “Spaceships are lifting off…”. It’s gorgeous, it gives a feeling of both melancholia and spirit lift.

It’s amazing how much “Strawberry Swing” has grown on me. There was a time in which I hated it. “Songs for Women” & “American Wedding” have always been and will always be my favorites from nostalgia, ULTRA.

    MEEET Reply:

@Lauren, I love There Will Be Tears and American Wedding
