Rap-Up.com || Justin Bieber and Big Sean Perform at the Teen Choice Awards

Bieber fever swept across the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City at Sunday’s Teen Choice Awards 2012. The teen sensation delivered a futuristic set that included his hit “Boyfriend” and his latest single “As Long As You Love Me,” on which he was joined by Big Sean. He picked up four awards, including Choice Male Artist and Choice Single by a Male Artist for “Boyfriend.”

With all the acknowledgement he gets about his “talent”, you would think he would be able to crank out a great performance. Every time I see a post about him on Rap-Up, I try to be open minded, but for some reason I always think about the awards he’s gotten and part of me expects more. He’s like that book that everyone raves about but as soon as you read it you’re like “this book is kinda bland…”.

Boy Boy Boy. I’m only here for Big Sean ”B.I.G” he’s so firm on the stage I think he will become one of the greatest performers in the Hip Hop Industry, and Bieber! don’t step the stage just stay in the Studio cuz there you’re great, in the stage, you’re not a big deal.

i mean, i’m defo not a hater. like, i watched bieber’s 1st vid EVER 3 hrs after it went up and stayed dedicated.
listening to his covers and hearing such an OBVIOUS R&B influence, i expected more from him on this new album. Sure, he’s got a few ‘dance hits’ and that, but i always thought watching him on youtube that he could be the sensation that brought back what R&B used to be. maybe that was a little ambitious, but damn, a single that rips off dubstep and a rapper that can’t keep up with his pre recorded backing?
that’s sad.
he has raw talent, but fails to display it these days.

oh and @lauren, I agree. check cody’s upcoming album Paradise, coming October 2nd :)
