Rap-Up.com || Lil Wayne Announces ‘Dedication 4’ Mixtape

Lil Wayne is back on his mixtape grind. The Young Money captain is teaming up with DJ Drama for the fourth installment in his Dedication series.

“Dedikation 4 komin next month,” tweeted Tunechi, whose last Dedication mixtape was released in November 2008.

DJ Drama got the green light from Wayne’s manager Cortez Bryant in May. “Me & Cortez had been talkin back & forth for bout a year that it was almost time for D4,” he told MTV. “He said Tunechi had been mentioning it and was gearing up. During the Vegas stop on Club Paradise tour, Tez told me it was a 100% go. I told him thank god, cuz the fans invade my twitter daily asking about it! Dram & Wayne is a dangerous combination. Shout out to the Mixtape Weezy. Get ready.”

Weezy is also working on I Am Not a Human Being II, which has already spawned the single “My Homies Still” with Big Sean. “The difference between [this] album and the last I Am Not a Human Being would be the music wasn’t rushed,” Wayne explained to MTV News. “Last time the music was rushed because I had to take that eight-month vacation on that island so we had rushed the music, but this time we didn’t rush the music.”

@Cassive, based on My Homies Still, no he hasn’t. I can’t stand to hear it, people say the beat behind 6foot7foot was annoying but this is another level or unbearable. Wayne on that Skater shit, and it’s not the classic shit we know but he just trying to do something new. Props for that, but it leaves my expectations low

@edi, Man! Numbers don’t Lie and they say that weezy’s the best. I recognize that Nas and Principally Jay Z got what it takes to compete, and if you think that they’re the best,your idea is very valid.

He said the music wast rushed? “my homies still” sounds very rushed, hopefully the rest of the album will have better content coz so far I ain’t lookin forward to it. Slightly excite for dedication 4 tho, so long as its the same level as ye previous 3 and da drought series
