Over a Motown-inspired beat, Cee Lo Green channels his inner “love machine” with his funky new song, “I’m a Man.” The soulful crooner warns, “There’s so many ladies that need love, oh I’ll do the best I can/ But if the morning comes and I’m not there, then darling please understand that I’m a man.”
The groovy record appears on the soundtrack to the remake of the 1976 film Sparkle, which stars Cee Lo along with the late Whitney Houston and Jordin Sparks. While the highly-anticipated flick won’t hit theaters until August 17, you can stream the full soundtrack here.
In related news, “Loberace,” Cee Lo’s residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, has been delayed from August to 2013 so he can fulfill his obligations to “The Voice.”
