Justin Bieber teases with a one-minute preview of his cinematic video for “As Long As You Love Me” featuring Big Sean. In the short film, the 18-year-old singer falls in love, but his girlfriend’s strict father (played by Michael Madsen) does not approve of the relationship.

“She needs to be with a man, not a boy,” he tells Bieber, advising him to hit the road. “I don’t want to know you. You need get in your car and leave and don’t come back ’cause if you do, it’s not gonna be good for you.”

So he runs away to the bus station and waits for her to join him. Will she be there? Find out when the full video, directed by Anthony Mandler (Rihanna, Drake), premieres on August 1.
