First Look: Dawn Richard Shoots 'Faith' + 'Wild N' Young' Video
Dawn Richard transformed into a warrior goddess while shooting the double video for “Faith” and “Wild N’ Young” in Los Angeles over the weekend.
“I am the goddess of faith sent to restore faith in my apparitions,” the former Dirty Money diva told staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud, referring to the three warriors who appear alongside her in the video. “This carries the modern day Joan of Arc theme for Goldenheart. Each outfit carries a look of armor.”
The short film, directed by Eugene Lee Yang, serves as the segway into her Goldenheart album, due October 16.
Other looks included a spartan warrior and a geisha, for which Dawn donned white padded shoulders, long nails, and seven-inch heels covered in gold and silver snakes.
