Miguel Shares ‘Kaleidoscope Dream’ at NYC Show

Miguel

To celebrate the release of his micro EP Kaleidoscope Dream: The Water Preview, Miguel rocked the house at Joe’s Pub in New York on Tuesday night. In addition to performing new material off the project, the L.A. native and his band debuted “Candles in the Sun,” a song off his upcoming sophomore album Kaleidoscope Dream (Oct. 2). He threw in a brief cover of Tupac’s “I Get Around” before segueing into his hit “Quickie.”

“May I have a water on the stage please and more women in the front? There’s too many men sitting up here,” joked Miguel at one point. “With all due respect fellas, I’m not playing.”

After getting his way, he continued on with the show. Watch his one-hour set below.

@Zave, why do you have to capitalize gay and yet your comment doesn’t have anything pertaining to topic at hand. you’re the one who is probably gay, slam the closet door shut.

@GURL, Please don’t comment to me. His hair speaks VOLUMES as well as his demeanor! Anyway I don’t have to give my reasons to YOU I’ve stated my opinion of him and I still support his music. So you can just have a stadium of seats “GURL”

@Zane, hair speaks volume? what dose one’s hair has to do with their sexuality. at the end of the day it’s who you’re attracted to, not what your hair looks like. Yeah, you’re so busy supporting his music that the first thing you can comment on is his sexuality SMDH. ”have a stadium of seats”, so original. “Zane”

@GURL, What does it matter the first thing I say?? As long as I support!! I also think Rihanna is a pothead! But I support her!! I can say whatever I want to online!! If you don’t like it! Don’t read it!! People should have a lot more goin on in there lives than to let what I think about an artist get under their skin! He doesn’t know you and doesn’t give a damn about you!! Are u on his payroll!?? Damn

@Zane, I think the point is we should support one another and not be so negative…just sayin. Y say anything if it isn’t positive.

@Zane, what’s with all the exclamation marks and how did Rihanna got into the mix :/. Yes you say anything online cause everyone in entitled to voice their opinion ..hello it’s comment board isn’t that what’s it for. yes i’m on a payroll
…”People should have a lot more goin on in there lives than to let what I think about an artist get under their skin!” no one isn’t letting anything get under the skin, i’m just calling you out cause you don’t know the guy from a can of paint yet you’re up in here saying how he is gay…and no he dosen’t know me, does he know you? oh ok.
