Brandy brings back the braids in the 30-second teaser for her Hype Williams-directed video for “Put It Down,” the first single off her upcoming sixth album Two Eleven, due October 2. The R&B songstress looks fierce in front of a Ferrari and cozies up to her overall-sporting co-star Chris Brown in the colorful clip, which was shot in Los Angeles. The full video will debut later this month.

Oh goodness she looks high. You know the whole marketing of this has really been off. The single died because of failure to promote. The Team & the label should have handled this better. You can’t market like you are a mixtape artist, when you are on a major. I hope they handle the rest of the roll-out better than this.

Thirdly She just started Performing this song at events and she even said that the delivery of the video was taking a bit too long for her also. I was not insulting the single it’s a good look, I am insulting the roll-out. Once it leaked considering the original release for the album was in August they should have been ready to go. It seems like a fun video. It’s Hype Williams, he’s going to add after effects ,you’ve neverrrr seen a cheap video from him even when he works on new artists singles (like Neyo’s “So Sick”)

The song is going up the charts and this will push it all the way because everyone isn’t all about computers and phones and twitters, some need to see a video on tv and a song performed to get into it.

I’m not gonna pass judgement because this is only a little trailer. But it does look like Willow Smith’s music video.

I’m happy to see her back, and I also love the fact that she’s rocking the braids again, but I hate when GOOD artist feel as if they need some overrated artist on their track in order for it to be a hit.

I like Chris, but I would rather her have used a REAL rapper.
