Machine Gun Kelly Announces Album Release Date
Get ready to Lace Up this fall. Machine Gun Kelly has announced a release date for his debut album.
During a Ustream session, the Cleveland rapper revealed that his first album for Bad Boy will arrive on October 9. He and his EST crew celebrated with shots of liquor as he made the announcement.
“Lace Up the Album officially releases in stores October 9th!!!” tweeted MGK.
The album, along with the cover artwork, is dedicated to his fans. “I don’t give a f**k about money with this album,” he said. “I don’t give a f**k about anything. We sacrificed so much for this album. I don’t care if we go fu**ing platinum. I don’t give a f**k if we go wood. All I want is for you guys to go and get this album so you can hear something beautiful. It’s such a good album.”
He has collaborated with Young Jeezy, Tech N9ne, Twista, Bun B, Lil Jon (“Lace Up”), and DMX on a dark record called “Demons.”
On August 13, he and his EST crew will release their mixtape EST 4 Life, which includes the Young Jeezy-assisted single “Hold On (Shut Up).”
