With three weeks to go until her debut album ORA drops in the U.K., Rita Ora whets appetites with 90-second snippets via iTunes. The 11 streamable tracks include “Love & War” with J. Cole, the will.i.am-assisted “Fall in Love,” and her No. 1 hit “R.I.P.” featuring Tinie Tempah, with production from The-Dream, Stargate, and The Runners. Sample what the Roc is cooking up ahead of the album’s August 27 international release.

I’m a huge Rita Ora fan, I just love her and she’s amazing live! The album is ok, definitely when you remind yourself it’s an pop artists debut album, which mostly contain a couple of hot songs (R.I.P., Facemelt, How We Do, Shine Ya Light, Roc The Life) and a bunch of album fillers. But hey that’s ok. Most big artists out now started this way (Rihanna, Britney, Beyonce)
I only have 2 huge problems with the label:
1: How the hell did they manage to NOT showcase Rita’s strong voice and great energy into the album. Her live versions are so much better then the studio songs. That’s a shame!
2: Don’t ever give Rita these terrible dance songs (Radioactive, Fall In Love) EVER again! Her voice is deff not made for this.

I feel like her second album will showcase her vocals more. This first album seems more as if it’s to get people to pay attention to her and become fans because there are lots of radio songs/chart topper songs, at least in my opinion. I’m a fan of hers and I will definately buy her album. I’m excited to see what else she has to offer.

she has an R&B blues, jazz and acoustic type of voice, they are classifying her into the wrong genre. W ow..I initially had no expectations for the album, then after reading these comments, I didn’t think I’d like it at all…
This is def one of those situations where u gotta check it out for urself b/c from what I heard, based off of the snippets, her debut album is actually quite good (for a debut).
Her vocals are above today’s average, the production doesn’t sound too cheap, and it’s definitely a “fun and feel good” album.
I just listened with an opened mind and took it for what it was; a debut album for a new artist. And that’s just from listening to snippets, so i’m sure the full album will be a lot more pleasing and bearable to listen to.
Another thing, she’s from the UK (where she’s already well-established) and this is their musical sound. So technically, she’s starting off really well. Jay & RocNation know what they’re doing, and they’re behind her 100%. I’m confident that she has a good career ahead of her!!

I liked Rita Ora at first. I wasn’t a huge fan of her music but I respected her as an artist. I wish I could say I like this album. I’ve been listening to these snippets over and over again to see if it will grow on me. But this album is simply just weak. rita has a great voice and she’s a great live performer. but this whole album is repetitive and most of the songs sound the same, not to mention that a lot of it is heavily auto-tuned. the only songs in my opinion that are ok are facemelt, shine ya light, hot right now and fall in love but mainly coz of the production. i’m not even sure this album will sell that much. i’m sorry to all rita fans and people who actually like this album, but this is trash:(

I wish people would stop comparing her and Rihanna. Rita is being promoted as a pop artist, when Rihanna came out her first 2 albums where clearly Reggae and Dancehall infused. What is all truly boils down to is the material she has released on this album. Personally, this album is in all honesty very lackluster. The songs are blah and her voice is not showcased enough to make them hot. I heard her acoustic performances and just knew she was going to deliver a great album. Sadly, that is not the case…

I think all rihanna fans forget how long it took her to get to where she is now
her first song used a sample and was written for her. Every track of hers is written, the only thing she does is sing weakly (really awful live) and thrust her vagina in people’s faces
It’s annoying how you idiots keep bringing rihanna back into the argument and conversation
remember back in the day when rihanna and beyonce were constantly being compared – it’s laughable now hey! they are nothiung alike. She paved her own way
JUST LIKE RITA WILL. She is extraordinary live.
